Danny is actually a chimera, and has two completely distinct sets of DNA - one belonging to his unborn twin sister. The DNA Vlad used just happened to be from a part of his body that held the alternate set of DNA - hence the gender mix-up with Danielle.
Last Pariah Dark Headcanon i swear
One of the things that always struck me as odd was how little he reacted to both Danny and Vlad being halfas. He’s just…..mildly surprised. And then he ignores it. He doesn’t even care. He goes on to underestimate Danny, so he possibly sees their human halves as a weakness instead of an asset. But…..Halfas could have, and if I’m being honest, should have, been of interest to him. If Pariah did see their human halves as a weakness, imagine his bewilderment at Danny defeating him. An infant half ghost, defeating the King.
Perhaps he’s forced to consider that Halfas aren’t as weak as he thinks they are, that perhaps they’re valuable.
Perhaps he manages to break free of the Sarcophagus, because it’s already been opened once, it’s hold is weaker now.
Heir Danny. I’m talking about Heir Danny. Pariah wants to become a Halfa and tries to use Danny to obtain that goal while simultaneously being impressed at Danny’s strength so he makes Danny his Heir or something idk I just want Heir Danny
Ghost Heir Danny trying to subtly manipulate Pariah into not doing evil things and Pariah being completely aware of it but irritable bc he can’t do anything to Danny since that’d be against his goal like “No, you shouldn’t destroy that thing, that’d be bad.” “Are you questioning me, child?!” “Not questioning, just suggesting.” “You test my patience.” “Eat a snickers, Pariah, you get cranky when you’re hungry.”
Eventually Pariah stops complaining about listening to Danny and slowly stops trying to do the things that Danny points out are bad, evil, or Absolutely Do Nots. Danny doesn’t really notice at first, but then realizes that his word has a lot of influence over the King so he starts encouraging him to be more good and less Conquer Everything.
Danny being given some really snazzy
ghost clothes that are pretty much indestructible and really good at
reinforcing his own powers. He also gets a whole bunch of really
powerful items and weapons from Pariah’s armory. No one tells him
that he’s the only one allowed full access to it, nor does anyone
tell him that his new outfit was made specifically for him. Pariah
has threatened to destroy them if they do bc Danny Must Not Know.
Eventually Pariah begins to like Danny be refuses to ever admit it to anyone bc he is the Ghost King he does not care about this smol pun-spewing child that takes “Fight Me” way too literally. He’s like a really big hovering helicopter ghost parent like “Go eat something, boy.” “I did-” “Do not lie to me, I know how your brow twitches in hunger. Go eat. Now.” or “Did you get enough sleep last night? You didn’t, did you. Go to your room and sleep, no one is to disturb you for thirty seven hours.” “Holy shit dude I’m not gonna sleep that long-” “You haven’t slept in four days. I know, I asked your comrades.” “…….I will go sleep right now if you promise to never do that again.” “Very well, I accept those terms.” -two weeks later- “You neED TO SLEEP DANIEL YOUR FRIENDS ARE WORRIED.” “Goddamn it Pariah not again.”
